Symptom Observed What To Do
Unit is Not Performing Properly Ensure that air vents are not blocked, remove any obstructions,
dust or debris.
Ensure that unit is not too close to a wall or in an enclosed place, move to
open area with adequate ventilation.
Unit is Not Cooling Properly Works best when ambient temperature is below 85 ˚F.
Ensure that unit is not sitting in direct sunlight, move to shady place.
Unit Does Not Run Ensure that cord is firmly plugged into power source.
Fuse in DC cable may need replacement – refer to item #4 in
Maintenance Procedures section.
Cord Gets Hot In the Socket Check for dirt, corrosion or tobacco particles in the socket. Clean/
remove debris to ensure snug fit of plug into socket.
If fuse was replaced, ensure that the power cord was reassembled
correctly. Refer to the diagram on page 7.
DC Use:
Voltage: 12-volts DC
Nominal Current Draw: 5.8 amps at 12-volt DC
Refrigeration System: Thermoelectric solid state heat pump
Temperature Range: Cools to 36 °F (20 °C) below ambient temperature.
Heats up to 135 °F (57.2 °C).
Insulation: Poolyurethane foam
Fan Motors: 12-volt DC, dual brushless motors
Battery Consumption: 4.5 – 6.5 amps
Fuse in DC Cable 7.5A fuse
AC Use:
Voltage 110/120v AC (U.S. & Canada); 220/240v AC (Europe)

free from defects in material or workmanship under
normal use and service for 1 year from the date of
original purchase. This warranty is your exclusive
warranty and there are no warranties which extend
beyond the description on the face hereof. Igloo
®
, in its
discretion, shall either repair the product free of charge
or provide you with a replacement product if the product
proves defective under the terms of this warranty. The
warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and
is not transferable. Dealers, service centers, or retail
stores do not have the right to change the terms and
conditions of the warranty. Igloo is not responsible for
incidental or consequential damage resulting from any
malfunction. The warranty shall not apply to any unit,
or component thereof, which is not returned as stated
below and/or which has been: (1) damaged through
abuse, misuse or neglect, (2) damaged in an accident,
(3) used for any purpose not expressly stated in this
manual, (4) repaired or altered in any way, including
electronic changes from its original configuration. The
product is designed for a 12-volt DC vehicle system and
household 110/120-volt (U.S. and Canada) or 220/240-
volt (Europe) AC Systems. Any implied warranties
including the implied warranty of merchantability are
also limited to duration of one-year from the original
purchase date. Please carefully review the care
instructions for proper use and care of the product.
