FLUID LEVEL & CHECK
Windshield cleaning uid
reservoir
Capacity: 3L
In order to achieve the best washing
effect and utilization safety, please use
cleaning uid veried by us. Please add
the cleaning uid slowly.
Power steering uid*
Capacity: 1.5L
When the engine is stopped, check the
uid level.
The level of the uid reservoir should be
between the maximum (MAX) and the
minimum (MIN) markings.
Note:
When the ambient temperature is lower
than 0ºC, antifreeze cleaning uid should
be used.
Note:
Running without uid is prohibited in any
cases to avoid damage to the power
steering pump.
Note:
If the coolant needs to be added
frequently, it indicates that the cooling
system has faults, check to nd out the
causes as soon as possible. The coolant
should be relled or replaced at Dongfeng
Franchise Store or IKCO authorized
representatives.
Note:
When the vehicle ambient temperature
is below -30ºC, the coolant should be
replaced by the one with stronger low
temperature resistance at local Dongfeng
Franchise Store or IKCO authorized
representatives.
Add the engine oil
For engine oil grade and capacity,
see Warranty Manual; do not use other
additives.
Coolant
Cold engine: The uid level
should be between the maximum (MAX)
marking and the minimum (MIN) marking
of expansion tank.
Hot engine: After the engine is stopped,
wait for 15 minutes or till the temperature
is less than 100ºC, open the tank cover
slowly by hands wrapped with the
cleaning cloth to avoid burns.
If the added coolant is more than 1L,
have the cooling system checked at
Dongfeng Franchise Store or IKCO
authorized representatives.
Brake uid
When the level of brake uid is too
low and up to the DANGER position, the
low brake uid level warning lamp will be
on.
WARNING
Check the coolant when engine is cold
to avoid burns.
