THREE-WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER
The three-way catalytic converter helps
to substantially reduce the hazardous
matters contained in the engine exhaust
gas, contributing to the environmental
protection.
Observe the following rules when
using
the three-way catalytic converter:
- Qualied lead-free gasoline must be
used, since the lead in the gasoline
after combustion will, together with the
exhaust gas, settle on the converter
surface when being discharged,
causing the converter ineffective earlier
and the oxygen sensor ineffective due
to lead poisoning;
- Collision, water pouring and immersion
must be avoided, orelse, the
purication effect of converter will be
weakened considerably;
- It is unallowable to use the fuel additives
not approved by our company;
- It is unallowable to use the engine
oil additives not approved by our
company;
- The service life of the converter
is closely related with the engine
operation situation. Therefore, please
do regular maintenance on the vehicle
and have it repaired immediately if
necessary.
