Part II. Hammer time.
1. Unpack the small wooden block (D) from your IKEA package.
2. Place the block (D) on top of the flat surface of the leg cap (C).
Keep it centered and still.
3. Hammer the block (D) until the narrow leg end (B1) is secure
inside the hole (A2A) of the seat (A2). Watch your fingers!
4. Repeat until all four legs (B) have been hammered into the seat
(A2).
Note: Ensure line B1A is aligned with the arrow at each leg hole (A2A)
and that each narrow end of the leg (B1) is flush with seat side A2.
Part III. Inserting the Backrest with Slats.
1. Now flip the chair so that it stands on its legs. Side A1 with
three slots (A1A) along one edge should be facing up.
2. Unpack the Backrest with Slats (E) from your IKEA package.
3. Insert the slats into the slots (A1A) on side A1. Ensure that the
side of the slats with a protruding peg (E1) is inserted facing
inside the seat.
4. Push downward from the top of the backrest until you hear a
click from each slat.
Note: Just because you heard a click does not mean all three slats are
secured. Check that all three slats have clicked into place.
Part IV: Enjoy your new IKEA Mammut children’s chair.
Care instructions—Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and a mild
non-abrasive dish detergent or soap, if necessary.
