How to:
To strengthen the surface protection, use
VÅRDA colourless water based glazing
paint. If you want the oor to regain its
original brown colour, before sun exposure,
use VÅRDA water based glazing paint with
brown colour pigment. Be sure you clean
and dry the oor well before reglazing it.
Choose a place in the shade when cleaning,
reglazing and letting the oor dry. Avoid
direct sunlight.
Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution. Wipe
dry with a clean cloth. For tougher stains
you can use a brush. If necessary, sand the
surface with ne sandpaper. Make sure to
sand it in the direction of the wood.
Apply a thin and even layer of glazing paint
on the clean and dry surface with a cloth or
a sponge.
Water based glazing paint dries quickly
so be sure to wipe off any extra with a
dry cloth. Leave to dry away from direct
sunlight.
Storing:
If possible, store your outdoor oor in a cool
and dry place indoors. If stored outdoors,
be sure to cover the oor with a water-
repellant cover, especially if the oor might
be subjected to snow. Make sure air can
circulate to avoid moisture and mould.
