Change the needle
1. Turn the hand wheel towards you to lift the needle. Then lower the
presser foot.
2. Release the needle by turning the needle holder screw anti-clockwise.
The screw may be very tight the rst time you unscrew it. Remove the
needle from the needle holder.
3. Install the new needle into the needle holder with the at side facing
away from you. Push the needle upwards into the needle holder as far
as possible.
4. Tighten the screw on the needle holder securely.
Do not use needles that are bent or blunt, because they easily damage the
fabric. This machine uses a standard needle size 90/14.
