This document describes the IMAYCC 4500 PSI/300Bar Built-in Converter 12V Air Compressor, available in two models: TXET062-1 (manual shutoff) and TXET062-2 (automatic shutoff). This air compressor is designed for filling PCP storage reservoirs or air cylinders.
Function Description
The IMAYCC air compressor is a high-pressure air pump capable of reaching 4500 PSI (300 Bar or 30 Mpa). It features a built-in converter, allowing it to operate from either a 100-130V AC power source or a 12V DC power source (such as a car battery).
The TXET062-2 model offers an automatic shutoff feature. Users can set a desired maximum fill pressure using an adjustment knob. Once the compressor reaches this set pressure, it will automatically turn off. The TXET062-1 model, on the other hand, requires manual shutoff when the desired pressure is reached.
The compressor includes a fan cooling system to manage heat generated during operation. It is equipped with a pressure gauge to monitor the air pressure, an air release valve, and a drain valve for waste oil and water. Safety features include an overload fuse and a burst disc.

Usage Features
The compressor can be operated in two primary ways: using AC power or a 12V battery.
AC Power Operation:
- Voltage Check: Ensure the product's voltage (adjusted to 110V from the factory) is suitable for your local power supply. The transformer voltage is adjustable, but it's pre-set to 110V.
- Preparation: Tighten the screw below the compressor, install the hose, and tighten the release valve.
- Connection: Connect the compressor filling hose to the air tank or other devices to be filled.
- Fan Activation: Turn on the compressor fan by pressing the right-side button. Allow the fan to run for approximately 2 minutes before starting the compressor.
- Compressor Activation: Turn on the compressor using the left-side button.
- Shutoff (TXET062-2): The compressor will automatically shut off when the desired pressure is reached.
- Shutoff (TXET062-1): Manually turn off the compressor when the desired pressure is reached.
- Cool Down: After the compressor stops, let the fan continue running for 2-3 minutes to cool down the unit.
- Final Steps: Turn off the fan and disconnect the fill hose from the tank or air cylinder.
12V Battery / Car Battery Drive Operation:
- Voltage Check: Ensure the 12V battery provides approximately 12V.
- Connection: Connect the compressor to the car battery using the provided jumper cables. The car battery must be a 12V-DC power source. Connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminal and the black cable to the negative (-) terminal. When connected correctly, the compressor fan will start automatically. Incorrect connection will prevent the cooling fan from working, leading to high-temperature damage.
- Connection: Connect the compressor filling hose to the air tank or other devices.
- Fan Activation: Turn on the compressor fan by pressing the switch (if not already running automatically). Allow the fan to run for a while.
- Compressor Activation: Turn on the compressor.
- Final Steps: Turn off the fan and separate the tank or other devices from the compressor.
Important Usage Notes:
- Always use the compressor in a well-ventilated area, away from liquid contaminants, smoke, or open flames.
- Wear gloves, hearing protection, and safety glasses during use.
- Never attempt to dismantle the compressor when it is pressurized or hot.
- Do not operate the compressor with the shell removed.
- Monitor the compressor while it's running to prevent overfilling.
- Avoid prolonged continuous running to prevent overheating and damage.
- Danger: Do not overfill; do not exceed 4500 PSI/300 Bar/30 Mpa.
- For TXET062-2, do not adjust the output pressure setting once the compressor is running. After auto-stop, manually turn off the compressor switch before bleeding pressure.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is recommended after filling approximately 40 bottles of 0.5L air.
- Connection Cleaning: Clean the four main connections to reduce the chance of malfunctioning.
- Filter Cotton Core Replacement: Replace the filter cotton core inside the unit. Extra cotton fillers are included in the packing list.
- Waste Oil and Water Drainage: Drain waste oil and water from the oil drain valve every time after use to ensure the compressor is not in a loaded status.
Troubleshooting:
- Compressor will not start:
- Possible causes: Connection failure, broken or burnt fuse.
- Resolution: Ensure the power converter is properly plugged into a functional electrical outlet and the compressor. Change the fuse. If using a 12V battery, ensure jumper cables are properly connected.
- Compressor cannot reach high pressure air:
- Possible causes: Air leaking, seal balls problem.
- Resolution: Check all joints, connections, and screws for air leaks. Change the seal balls inside.
- Air pressure rising slowly or cannot reach 200Bar:
- Possible causes: Air leaking, second piston rings wear out, check valve problem.
- Resolution: Check all joints, connections, and screws for air leaks. Replace the second piston rings. Clean the check valve, especially its connectors, and change the corresponding check valve if necessary.
- Operating temperature too high:
- Possible causes: Long time use or bad ventilation, incorrect fan rotary direction.
- Resolution: Avoid continuous operation; allow the compressor to cool down if it gets hot. Ensure the fan is rotating in the correct direction and there is good ventilation.
