6. Set alarm schedule with Tune dial and confirm
with Select.
•[Daily] The alarm is activated every day.
•[Weekends] The alarm is activated on Satur-
days and Sundays.
•[Weekdays] The alarm is activated from Mon-
day to Friday.
•[Once][xx-xxxxxx] (Date to be determined)
The alarm is activated only once. The date
must be set.
Note
If [DAB] or [FM] is selected, [last listened] will be
displayed. Press Select to confirm.
7. The volume bar will be displayed. Adjust the
volume with Tune dial and confirm with Select.
8. Switch on/o the alarm [Alarm on/ Alarm o]
with Tune dial and confirm with Select.
9. The alarm settings are stored and [alarm saved]
is displayed.
Activating or deactivating the alarm
1. Follow all the steps in the previous chapter until
point 8.
2. Use the Tune dial to select [Alarm o] to disable
the alarm or [Alarm on] to activate the alarm.
Confirm the selection by pressing Select.
Repeat alarm
When the alarm sounds, press Snooze/Sleep
button to suspend alarm sound for a few minutes.
The alarm will start again after approx. 9 minutes.
Turning o the alarm
When the alarm sounds, press Standby to turn
the alarm o.
Setting the time
1. Select menu option [Time] by turning the Tune
dial and confirm with Select.
2. Use Tune dial to select the desired sub-menu:
• Set 12/24 hour: Choice of 12 or 24 hour
format
• Set Time/Date: manual time and date set-
ting
• Auto update: Choice of DAB Update or No
Update
• Set date format: Choice of DD-MM-YYYY or
MM-DD-YYYY
Set the backlight
Turn the Tune dial to select the [Backlight] menu
item and press Select. You are now in the back-
light menu. Three options are available. Select
options and settings by turning the Tune dial and
confirm your entries by pressing the Select.
• Display o: On, 10-180 sec; On: Display per-
manently on; 10-180 sec: Display switches to
dimmed state after expiration of the preset time.
• On level: High, Medium, Low
• Dim level: High, Medium, Low
Setting the language
Note: The default language is English.
Turn the Tune dial to select the [Language] menu
option and press Select. You are now in the lan-
guage setting menu. Select the desired language
with the Tune dial and confirm the selection by
pressing the Select.
Factory settings
Select menu option [Factory reset] with Tune dial
and confirm with Select.
Displaying the software version
Select menu option [SW version] with Tune dial
and confirm with Select.
Setting the sleep-timer
After a pre-selected amount of time, this unit can
automatically change to standby mode.
1. Push the Snooze/Sleep dial.
2. Use the Tune dial to select the desired options
and confirm by pressing Select:
• [Sleep O]
• [15 minutes]
• [30 minutes]
• [45 minutes]
• [60 minutes]
• [90 minutes]
