What to do if the LED is flashing red and orange on my Independence Mosquito Magnet?

  If the LED on your Independence Lawn and Garden Equipment is flashing alternately red and orange at 7-second intervals, it indicates low battery voltage. First, ensure that four fresh 'C' batteries are correctly installed. If the issue persists, check that the battery cage connector is properly installed. If the problem continues after repeated attempts, replace the batteries with a new set of four 'C' batteries.

  If your Independence Lawn and Garden Equipment has low or no catch, first verify that the temperature is consistently above 50°F (10°C). Ensure the trap is in constant operation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for at least 4 weeks to effectively reduce the mosquito population. Note that restricted airflow may also cause this issue.
