Usage Features
Installation:
The washing machine requires careful unpacking, levelling, and connection to the electricity and water supplies. The water inlet hose should be connected to a cold water tap with a 3/4 gas thread, and the drain hose should be hooked to a drain pipe or wall drain between 65 and 100 cm from the floor. Proper levelling is crucial to prevent vibrations and excessive noise.
Control Panel:
The control panel features an ON/OFF button, DELAY TIMER button, DISPLAY, FUNCTION buttons with indicator lights, START/PAUSE button with indicator light, TEMPERATURE knob, DETERGENT DISPENSER DRAWER, WASH CYCLE knob, SPIN SPEED knob, and a DOOR LOCKED indicator light.
Starting a Wash Cycle:
- Switch on the machine by pressing the ON/OFF button.
- Load the laundry and close the door.
- Set the WASH CYCLE knob to the desired program.
- Set the washing temperature (see "Personalisation").
- Set the spin speed (see "Personalisation").
- Measure out the detergent and washing additives (see "Detergents and laundry").
- Select the desired functions.
- Start the wash cycle by pressing the START/PAUSE button. The corresponding indicator light will remain lit in a fixed manner, in green.
- To cancel the set wash cycle, press the START/PAUSE button and select a new cycle.
- At the end of the wash cycle, the END indicator light will switch on. The door can be opened once the DOOR LOCKED indicator light turns off (approximately 3 minutes).
Personalisation:
- Setting the temperature: The TEMPERATURE knob allows adjustment of the wash temperature according to the selected program.
- Setting the spin speed: The SPIN SPEED knob allows adjustment of the spin speed. The maximum spin speed varies by fabric type (e.g., Cotton 1200 rpm, Synthetics 1000 rpm, Wool 800 rpm, Silk 0 rpm).
- Functions: Various functions like "Extra Wash" (for very dirty items) and "Energy Saver" (for reduced energy consumption) can be activated by pressing the corresponding buttons.
Detergents and Laundry:
The detergent dispenser drawer has three compartments:
- Pre-wash detergent (powder) / Main wash detergent (powder or liquid): For powder detergent, use compartment 1 for pre-wash and compartment 2 for main wash. For liquid detergent, use compartment 2 only.
- Main wash detergent (powder or liquid):
- Additives (fabric softeners, etc.):
Specific instructions are provided for different fabric types (e.g., Cotton, Synthetics, Wool, Silk, Baby) and their corresponding detergent requirements. Load balancing system ensures even distribution of laundry to prevent excessive vibrations.
Maintenance Features
Cutting off Water and Electricity Supplies:
- Turn off the water tap after every wash cycle.
- Unplug the washing machine when cleaning it and during all maintenance work.
Cleaning the Washing Machine:
- The outer parts and rubber components can be cleaned using a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
- The detergent dispenser drawer should be removed and cleaned regularly under running water to prevent blockages.
- The inlet hose should be checked at least once a year for cracks.
