You will need a medium Phillips head screwdriver.
*Optional - A pair of pliers can assist with sections
of the replacement.
Remove the restraint from the vehicle.
Using the red recline lever, place the
restraint into the full
recline section.
Lay the restraint down on its back on a
stable surface.
On the underside of the seat shell you will be
able to see the buckle plate, using the
screwdriver remove the screw from the plate.
Place the screw aside for safe keeping and
turn the buckle plate sideways. Then push the
buckle plate back up through the hole in the
seat shell to disconnect from the restraint.
In the top of the seat, pull back the flap of
fabric and foam sitting between the buckle
straps and you’ll fine the adjustable buckle
plate. Turn this sideways and push down
through the seat shell.
NOTE: Please read these instructions thoroughly before beginning, as the harness buckle of this
restraint is an important safety feature, please make sure that the buckle is replaced as per these
instructions and securely attached.
