INFINITY Micro Component Home Cinema System HCS-1
B for speaker and amplifier connections
“IMAGES” Take the two ‘bared-ended’ wires as shown.
Consult the instruction book of your AV-amplifier.
Ensure your AV-amplifier has the volume adjusted to minimum and is swtched
OFF.
Find the satelllite output terminals. The (+) lead of the speaker wire is noted with a
stripe. It is important to connect both speakers identically : (+) on the speaker to
(+) on the amplifier and (-) on the speaker to (-) on the amplifier. Wiring ‘out-of-
phase’, results in thin sound with weak bass and a poor stereo image.
For connection of the active subwoofer to your AV-amplifier, you will require an
RCA/phono-RCA/phono lead. Use the correct length relevant to your system
installation.
