If children activate the memoryfunction, they
could become trapped, especially if they are unat-
tended. There is ariskofinjury.
When leaving the vehicle, alwaystakethe
keywith youand lockthe vehicle. Never
leavechildren unattended in the vehicle.
The memoryfunction canbeused at any time,
e.g. even when the keyisn’t in the ignition lock.
STORING SETTINGS
With the memoryfunction, youcan store up to
three different settings.

Seat and seatbackposition
•
Driver’s side: position of theexterior mirrors on
thedriver’s and front-passenger sides.
To store settings:
1. Adjust the seat (see
“Power seat adjustment” in
the “1. Safety — seats, seat belts and supplemental
restraint system” section
).
2. Adjust the exterior mirror on the driver’s side
(see
“Adjusting” in the “3. Pre-driving checks and
adjustments” section
).
3. Brieflypressthe Mmemorybutton

then presspreset position button 1, 2or3

within three seconds.
Thesettings are stored in the selected preset
position. Atone sounds when the settings
have been completed.
CALLING UP ASTORED SETTING
Pressand hold the relevant preset position but-
ton1,2or3until the seat and exterior mirrors
areinthe stored position.
NOTE
Thesetting procedure is interrupted as soon as you
releasethe storageposition button.
