General notes
If the vehicle cannolongerbelockedorun-
locked with the keyorIntelligent Key, usethe
emergency keyelement.
If youuse the emergency keyelement to unlock
and openthe driver’s door or the backdoor,the
anti-theftalarm system will be triggered (see
“Anti-theftalarm system (where fitted)” later in this
section
)
There are several ways to deactivate the alarm:

To deactivate the alarm with the key:

Insertthe keyinto the ignition lock.

Lock orunlockthe vehicle using IntelligentKey. The
keymustbeoutside the vehicle
If youunlockthe vehicle using the emergency
keyelement, the fuel-fillerlid will not be un-
lockedautomatically.Tounlockthe fuel-fillerlid,
insertthe keyinto the ignition lock.
