If youchangethe settings of the climate control
system, the climate status display appears forap-
proximately three seconds at the bottomofthe
screen in the central display (see separate operat-
ing instructions). Youwillsee the current settings
of the variousclimate control functions.
Switching air-conditioning system

Makesure the ignition switch is in the ON posi-
tion.
To switch on: turn control

Activating/deactivating the cooling
with air dehumidification function
Ifyoudeactivate the“Cooling withair dehumidi-
fication” function,the air inside the vehicle will
not be cooled.The air inside the vehicle will also
not be dehumidified.The windows canmistup
more quickly. Therefore, only deactivate the
“Cooling with air dehumidification” function
briefly.
The “Cooling with air dehumidification” func-
tion is only available when the engine is run-
ning.The air inside the vehicle is cooled and
dehumidified according to the temperature se-
lected.
Condensation maydrip from the underside of
thevehicle when cooling mode is active. Thisis
normal and not asign that there is amalfunc-
tion.
To activate:

button lights up.
To deactivate:
Pressthe

button. The indicator lamp in
the
m
button goes out. The cooling with air
dehumidification function has adelayed switch-
off feature.
Problems with the “Cooling with air dehumidi-
fication”
function:
Problem: The indicator lamp in the
m
button
flashes three times or remainsoff.The cooling
with air dehumidification functioncannot be ac-
tivated.
Causeand solution: The cooling with air dehu-
midification function has been deactivated due

Settingthe temperature
Youcan set the temperature forthe entire ve-
hicle. The set temperature is automatically
maintained at aconstant level.
To increaseorreducethe temperature: turn con-
trol

1anticlockwiseorclockwise. Only change
the temperature setting in smallincrements.

Directs the airflow through the demister
vents.

Directs the airflow through the centre
and side air vents.

Directsthe airflow through the footwell
air vents.
NOTE
•
Youcan also activate severalof the airdistribution
settings simultaneously.Inorder to do this, press
severalofthe air distribution buttons. The air is
then routed through different air vents.

Regardlessofthe air distribution setting, airflow
is alwaysdirected through the side air vents. The
side air vents canonlybeclosed if the adjusters
are turned clockwiseuntil they engage.
To set air distribution:
