Power seat adjustment
WARNING
Never leave children or adults who would normally re-
quirethe supportofothers alone in the vehicle. Pets
should not be left alone either.They could unknow-
ingly activate switches or controls and inadvertently
become involved in aseriousaccident and injure
themselves.
Operating tips:
•
Thepower seat motor has an auto-reset overload
protectioncircuit.Ifthemotor stopsduringthe seat
adjustment, wait 30 seconds, then reactivate the
switch.
•
To avoid dischargeofthe battery, do not operate
the power seats for along period of time when the
engine is not running.

Youcan store the seat settings using the memory
function (see “Memoryfunction (where fitted)” in the
“2. Instruments and

section).
Forward and backward:
Move forward or backward the adjusting switch

Reclining:
Move forward or backward the adjusting switch

The reclining featureallows the adjustment of
the seatbackfor occupants of different sizesto
help obtain the proper seat belt fit. (See
“Seat
belts” later in thissection
.)
Theseatbackmaybe reclined toallowoccupants
to rest when thevehicle is parked.
