WARNING
Theseatbackshould not be reclined any more than
neededfor comfort. Seatbelts are mosteffective when
the passenger sits wellbackand straight up in the
seat. If the seatbackisreclined, the risk of sliding
under the lapbelt and being injured is increased.
Seat lifter (where fitted):
1. Pull up or push down the adjusting switch

sition is achieved.

Lumbar support:
The lumbar supportfeature provides lower back
supporttothe driver.

Never allow anyone to ride in the cargoareaoron
the rear seat when it is in the fold-down position.
Useofthese areas by passengerswithout proper
restraints could result in serious injuryordeath in
an accident or sudden stop.

Properly secureall cargowith ropes or straps to
help prevent it from sliding or shifting. Do not
placecargohigher than the seatbacks.Inasud-
den stop or collision, unsecured cargocould cause
personal injury.
•
When folding or returning the seatback(s) to the
uprightposition, to avoid injurytoyourself and
others,makesure that the seat path is clear be-
fore moving the seat.
•
When returning the seatbacks to the upright posi-
tion, be certain they are completely secured in the
latched position. If they are not completely se-
cured, passengersmaybeinjured in an accident or
sudden stop.
Folding
The luggagecompartment loading capacity can
be increased by folding the rear seats forward.
