Notes on operating audio by voicerecognition:

An audio deviceconnected viaBluetooth® cannot
be operated with the VoiceRecognition system.

Song titleand Artist name information will be over-
written when another iPod/iPhoneisconnected af-
tersong titles and artist names in the previously
connected iPod/iPhone have been installed.
•
If two USB devices are connected at the same time,
voiceoperation will only be available foruse with
oneregistered and selected device. When select-
ing “YES” in the pop-up screen that displaysafter
anew USB audio deviceisconnected, the USB au-
diodeviceisregistered in the voicerecognition
systemandis selected automatically.OneiPod and
one USB devicecan be registered in the system. If
aUSB audio deviceisnewly registered, old datais
overwritten. It maytakeafew moments to register
an audio device. If youwant to enable voiceopera-
tion formusic stored on apreviously registered au-
diodevice, select the deviceyou want to usein
advance.

Even when adevicehas been previously reg-
istered, simplyconnecting the devicewillnot
result in it beingselected automatically.

The VoiceRecognition system maynot function
when the song information is too long (artist
names, albumtitles, songtitles and playlists,etc.).
VOICERECOGNITION SETTINGS
Voicerecognition functionscan be set.
1. Push <MENU> andtouch[Settings].
2. Touch[VoiceRecognition Settings].
3. Touchthe item youwant to set.
Available settings
•
[Minimise VoiceFeedback]:
Set the Minimise VoiceFeedbackfunction
[ON] (shortfeedback) or [OFF] (long
feedback).
•
[Audio DeviceSettings]:
Select an audio devicetobeoperated via
voicerecognition system from the list of de-
vicesregistered to the in-vehicle audio sys-
tem. Thedevicewith an indicator light illumi-
nated canbeoperated with voicerecognition
system.
