Thisfunction allows youtoadjust the distance
betweenthe head restraint and the backofthe
head.
•
To move forwards: pullthe head restraint forwards
in thedirection of the arrow until it engages. There
areanumber of detents.
•
To move backwards: press and hold button j1and
push the head restraint backwards.
•
When theheadrestraint is in the desired position,
releasethe button and make sure that the head
restraint is engaged in position.
It is recommended to movethe head restraintas
farforward as possibletominimise the distance
between the head restraint and the backofthe
head.
Remove
Usethe followingprocedure to remove the head
restraint.
1. Pull the head restraint up to the highest posi-
tion.
2. Push and hold the lockknob.
3. Remove the head restraint from the seat.
4. Store the head restraint properly in asecure
placesoitisnot loose in the vehicle.
5. Reinstalland properly adjust the head re-
straint before anoccupant uses the seating
position.
Install
1. Align the head restraintstalkswith the holes
in theseat. Make sure that the head restraint
is facing the correct direction. The stalk with
the adjustment notch

1must be installedin
the hole with the lockknob
j
2.
2. Push and hold the lockknob and push the
head restraint down.
3. Properly adjust the head restraint before an
occupant uses the seating position.
