Vehicle information display
If radar blockage is detected, the system will be
turned off automatically,and the [Blind Spot
Warning currently unavailable See Owner’s
Manual]message appearsinthe vehicle infor-
mation display

1.The system is not available
until the conditionsnolonger exist.
Theradar sensors maybeblockedbytemporary
ambient conditionssuchassplashing water,
mist or fog. The blockedcondition mayalso be
caused by objects suchasice,frost or dirtob-
structing the
ra
dar sensors.
Action to take: When the above conditionsno
longer exist, the system will resume automati-
cally. If the message stillappears, have the sys-
temcheckedbyanINFINITI centre or qualified
workshop.
System malfunction
If thesystem malfunctions, it will be turned off
automatically,and the [Blind Spot Warning in-
operative] messageappearsinthe vehicle infor-
mation display

Action to take: Stop the vehicle in asafe loca-
tion, placethe vehicle in the P(Park) position,
turn the engine off and restartthe engine.
If themessage stillappears, have the system
checkedbyanINFINITI centre or qualified work-
shop.
