When the corner of the vehicle moves closer to
an object,the corner sensor indicators

pear (where fitted).
When the centre of the vehicle moves close to
an object, the centre indicator

2appears.
When the object is detected, the indicator
(green) appears and blinksand the tone sounds
intermittently.When the vehicle movescloser to
theobject, the colour of the indicator turnsyel-
lowand the rate of the blinking increases.When
the vehicle is veryclose to the object, the indi-
cator stopsblinking and turnsred, and the tone
sounds continuously.
The parking sensor system is activated auto-
matically when you:

Switch on the ignition
•
Shifttoposition D(Drive), or R(Reverse) on ve-
hicles with automatic transmission
