Afterdriving in emergency mode, have the wheel rims
checkedatanINFINITI centre or qualified workshop
with regard to their further use. The faulty tyre must
be replaced.
REPAIRING FLATTYRE

The emergency tyre puncture repair kitissup-
pliedwith the vehicle instead of aspare tyre.
Thisrepair kitmustbeused for temporarily fix-
ing aminor tyre puncture. After usingthe repair
kit, see an INFINITI centre or qualified workshop
as soon as possiblefor tyre inspection and re-
pair/replacement.
CAUTION
Do not usethe emergency tyre puncture repair kitun-
der the followingconditions. Contact an INFINITI cen-
tre, qualified workshop or professional road assis-
tance.
•
when thesealant has passed its expiration date
(shown on the label attached to the bottle)
•
when thecut or the puncture is approximately 4
mm (0.16in) or longer
•
whenthe side of the tyre is damaged
•
when thevehicle has been driven with aconsider-
able loss of air from the tyre
•
when the tyre is completely displaced inside or
outsidethe rim
•
when thetyre rim is damaged
•
when two or more tyres are flat
Getting emergency tyre puncture
repair kit
Take the emergency tyre puncture repair kitout
of the boot.The repair kit consists of the follow-
ing items:

Ajackand rod are not equipped as standard. These
partsare dealer options. Contact an INFINITI centre or
qualified workshop about obtaining these parts. See
“Removing and fitting wheels” later in thissection for

Do not store ajackinthe vehicle.
Before using emergency tyre puncture
repair kit

If any foreign object (for example, ascrew or nail)
is embedded in the tyre, do not remove it
.
•
Checkthe expiration date of the sealant (shown on
the label attached to the bottle). Never useaseal-
ant whichhas passed its expiration date.
