GLASS
Use glass cleaner toremovesmokeand dust film
from the glass surfaces. It is normal forglass to
become coated with afilm after the vehicle is
parked in the hot sun. Glass cleaner and asoft
cloth will easily remove this film.
CAUTION
When cleaning the inside of the windows, do not use
sharp-edged tools,abrasive cleaners or chlorine-
based disinfectant cleaners. They could damagethe
electrical conductors, radio antennaelements or rear
window defroster elements.
UNDERBODY
In areas where road salt is used in the winter,it
is necessary to clean the vehicle’s underbody
regularly in order to prevent dirtand salt from
building upand causing the acceleration of cor-
rosion on the underbody and suspension.

WHEELS
•
Wash the wheels when washing the vehicle to
maintain their appearance.
•
Cleanthe inner side of the wheels when the wheel
is changed or the underside of the vehicle is
washed.
•
Do notuse abrasive cleaners when washing the
wheels.
•
Inspectwheel rims regularlyfor dents or corrosion.
This maycause loss of pressure or damage the tyre
bead.
•
INFINITI recommends that the road wheels be
waxedtoprotect againstroad salt in areas where it
is used during winter.
ALUMINIUMALLOY WHEELS
Wash the wheels regularly with aspongedamp-
ened in amild soap solution, especiallyduring
winter in areas where road salt is used. The salt
residue from road salt could discolour the
wheels if it is not washed off regularly.
CAUTION
Follow the directionsbelow to avoidstaining or disco-
louringthe wheels:
•
Do not useacleaner that uses strong acid or alkali
co
ntents to clean the wheels.
•
Do not applywheel cleaners to the wheels when
they are hot. The wheeltemperature should be the
same as ambient temperature.
•
Rinsethe wheel to completely remove the cleaner
within 15 minutes after the cleaner is applied.
CHROME PARTS
Cleanall chrome parts regularly with anonabra-
sive chrome polish to maintain the finish.
