Regular care and cleaning is required in order to
maintain the appearanceofthe leather.
Before using anyfabric protector,readthe
manufacturer’s recommendations. Some fabric
protectors contain chemicals that maystain or
bleach the seat material.
Useasoft cloth dampened only with water to
clean the meter and gaugelenscovers.

Formodel with Advanced Air BagSystem, do not use
water or acidic cleaners (hot steam cleaners) on the
seat.This candamage the seat or occupant classifica-
tion sensor.Thiscan also affect the operation of the
airbag system and result in serious personal injury.

AIRFRESHENERS
Most air fresheners useasolvent that could af-
fectthe vehicle interior.Ifyou useanair fresh-
ener,takethe following precautions:

Hanging-type air fresheners cancause permanent
discolorationwhen they contact vehicle interior
surfaces. Placethe air freshener in alocation that
allowsittohang free andnot contact an interior
surface.

Liquid-type air fresheners typically clip on the
vents. These productscan causeimmediate dam-
ageand discoloration when spilled on interior sur-
faces.
Carefully read and follow the manufacturer’s in-
structions before usingair fresheners.
FLOOR MATS

Theuse of genuine INFINITI floor mats (where
fitted)can extend the life of your vehicle carpet
and make it easier to clean the interior.Regard-
lessofwhatmats are used, be sure they are fit-
ted foryour vehicle and are properly positioned
in the foot welltoprevent interferencewith
pedal operation. Mats should be maintained
with regular cleaning and replaced if they be-
come excessively worn.
Floormat positioning aid
This vehicle includes afront floor matbracket to
actasafloor matpositioning aid. INFINITI floor
mats have been speciallydesigned for your ve-
hicle model.
Position thematbyplacing the floor matbracket
hook throughthe floor matgrommet hole while
centring the matinthe foot area.
Periodicallycheckthatthe mats are properly po-
sitioned.
GLASS
Use glass cleaner toremovesmokeand dust film
from the glass surfaces. It is normal forglass to
become coated with afilm after the vehicle is
parked in the hot sun. Glass cleaner and asoft
cloth will easily remove this film.
