SEAT BELTS
WARNING

Do notallow wetseatbelts to rollupinthe retrac-
tor.

Neverusebleach,dyeorchemicalsolventstoclean
theseatbelts, sincethese materials mayseverely
weaken theseatbelt webbing.
The seat belts canbecleaned by wiping them
with aspongedampened in amild soap solu-
tion.
Allow the belts to drycompletely in the shade
before usingthem. (See

GENUINELEATHER SEAT COVERS
Automotive leather is typically finished with
coatings whichprotect the surface fromthe
sun’sdamaging rays as well as making it resis-
tant to soiling. The finishes used in automotive
upholstery are unique; verydifferent to furni-
ture, garment or shoe leathers. Leather is ex-
tremely resilient and easytoclean and main-
tain.

Before cleaning leather upholstery, vacuum it to
removedust.
•
To clean leather,simply useasoft and lint-free
cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild
soap.Donot soak the leather.
•
Useagentle, circularmotion.Do not runthe leather
or applyextreme pressure when cleaning.
•
Wipe the leather again with another clean, slightly
dampcloth to remove soap residue. Drywith asoft
cloth.
Leather should be cleaned whenever it becomes
soiled.Dustand dirtmayharm leatherif allowed
to workinto the finish.
Never usealcohol, cleaning solvents, oils, var-
nishes or polishes on your leather,and avoid
using unknown products as they damagethe
finish. Only useleather care agents approvedby
INFINITI.
Steaming or ironing is not recommended as it
maydamagethe leather.
Leather is anatural product and has naturalsur-
face propertiessuch asunevennessinstructure,
markscaused by injury, and subtle colour dif-
ferences.These are characteristicsofleather
and not material faults.
LEATHER CLEANING KIT(where fitted)
Spray onto the leather cleaning cloth, then gen-
tly wipe thesurface of leather.Use adry towelto
absorb any excess moisture.
Pleaserefer to the instruction manual provided
with the leather cleaner kit.
Cleanlight-coloured leather morefrequently be-
causesoiling onsuch surfacesis muchmore vis-
ible.
Youcan obtain the leather cleaner kitfrom an
INFINITI centre or qualified workshop.
