CLEANING
If the windscreen or backdoor window is not
clear after using thewindow washer or if awiper
blade chatters when running, waxorother ma-
terial maybeonthe blade or windscreen.
Cleantheoutside of the windscreenor backdoor
window with awasher solution or amild deter-
gent.The windscreen or backdoor window is
clean if beads do not form when rinsing with
clear water.
Cleanthe blade by wiping it with acloth soaked
in awasher solution or amild detergent. Then
rinse the blade with clear water.Ifthe wind-
screen or back door window is stillnot clear af-
ter cleaning the blades and using the wiper,re-
placethe blades.
CAUTION
•
After wiper blade replacement, return the wiper
arm to its original position. Otherwiseitmay be
damaged when the bonnet is opened.
•
Makesure the wiper bladecontacts the glass.Oth-
erwise, the arm maybedamaged from wind pres-
sure.
•
Do not open the bonnet when the front wiper is in
theservicing position other wiseitcan damage
the paint surface of the bonnet.
•
Remove the keyfrom the ignition before working
on the wipers.
