VEHICLE BATTERY
•
Keep the batterysurface clean and dry. Any corro-
sion should be washed off with asolution of bak-
ingsoda and water.
•
Makecertain the terminal connectionsare clean
and securely tightened.
•
If the vehicle is not used for 30 daysorlonger,dis-
connect the “–” negative batteryterminal cableto
prevent discharge.
•
If batteryreplacement or checkisrequired, contact
an INFINITI centre or qualified workshop.
Accessing vehicle battery
The vehicle batteryisstored under acover.To
remove the cover to gain access to the battery:
1. Disconnect the bonnet releasecable

1and
anyother cables from the batterycover.
2. Hold the batterytop cover firmly and slide it
towardsthe front of the car

2and upwards
j
3.
3. Lift the cover up and away from the battery.
NOTE
When installing thebatterycover,remember to re-
placecables in their original position.
Maintenancefree battery
Foramaintenancefree batteryitisnot required
to checkthe fluid level. However,INFINITI rec-
ommends to visually checkthe status of the
green indicator

A(where fitted) periodically.If
it is not visible,replacethe batteryassoon as
possible.
