play showsthe [Adaptive front lighting system:

tive Inactive

ight-side traffic] display mes-
sage instead of the [Adaptive front lighting]
function in the[Light] submenu.

Setting the dipped-beam headlights for
driving on the left/right:
This function is only available on vehicles with
the Adaptive Front Lighting System (see
“Adap-
tive front lighting system (LED headlight only) (where
fitted)” later in thissection
).

wheel to select the [Settings]menu.
2. Pressthe

button to select [Light]
submenu.
3.Press<OK> to confirm.
4. Press the

button to select the
[Dippedbeams Setting for] function.
Youwillsee the selected setting: [Right-side
traffic] or [Left-side traffic].
5. Pressthe <OK> button to save the setting.
If youchangethe setting, conversion does
not take placeuntil the next time the vehicle
is stationary.
If youset the dipped-beam headlights for driv-
ing on the right/ left, then motorwaymode is un-
available.Thisisonlydeactivated if the setting
fordriving onthe left/right is set opposite to
your vehicle’s countryversion.
An INFINITI Centre or qualified workshop canset
the dipped-beam headlights for driving on the
left/right.
Settingthe brightnessofthe ambient lighting:
1. Pressthe
m

buttononthe steering
wheel to select the [Settings]menu.
2. Pressthe
m
or
m
button to select [Light]
submenu.
3.Press<OK> to confirm.
4. Press the
m
or
m
button to select the
[Ambient lightBrightness] function.
Youwillsee the selected setting.
5. Change the setting with <OK>.
If youchangethe setting, conversion does
not take placeuntil the next time the vehicle
is stationary.
6. Pressthe
m
or
m
button to adjust the
brightness to alevel from [Off] to [Level 5]
(bright).
7. Pressthe <OK> or
m
button to save the set-
ting.
Activating/deactivating the surround lighting
and exterior lighting delayed switch-off:
If youhave activated the Surround lighting func-
tionand the light switch is set to <AUTO>, the fol-
lowing functionsare activated when it is dark:
•
Surround lighting: the exterior lighting remainslit
for 40 seconds after unlocking with the key. If you
startthe engine, the surround lighting is switched
off and automatic headlight mode is activated.
•
Exterior lighting delayed switch-off: the exterior
lighting remainslit for 60 seconds after the engine
is switched off.Ifyou close allthe doors and the
backdoor,the exterior lighting goes off after 15
seconds.
