[Parking brakeinoperative]
The yellow
m warning light is lit. The red m indicator light flashes forabout ten seconds after the electric parking brakehas been applied or
released. It then goes out or remainslit.
The electric parking brakeismalfunctioning, e.g. because of overvoltageorundervoltage.
1.
Rectifythe cause of the overvoltageorundervoltage, e.g. by charging the batteryorrestarting the engine.
2. Apply orreleasethe electric parking brake.
If the electric parking brakestillcannot be applied or released:
1. Switch the ignition off and turn it backon.
2. Applyorreleasethe electric parking brakemanually.
If the electric parking brakestillcannot be applied or released, consult an INFINITI Centre or qualified workshop.

Paying attention to the traffic situation, immediately depressthe brakepedal firmly and hold until the display mes-
sage disappears.
2. Secure the vehicle against rolling away.
Youcan restartthe engine.
