  Low power in your Ingersoll-Rand Impact Driver can stem from several issues. Start by cleaning the air strainer screen, inlet bushing, and exhaust silencer with a suitable cleaning solution in a well-ventilated area. Also, inspect the cylinder for wear, breakage, or scoring, and replace it if necessary. Replace scored end plates. If the vanes are worn or broken, replace the complete set. Lastly, disassemble the tool and clean all parts with a suitable cleaning solution in a well-ventilated area before reassembling.
