How to troubleshoot low power in Ingersoll-Rand Engine?
- JJustin WyattAug 4, 2025
If your Ingersoll-Rand Engine has low power or low free speed, first check the air pressure at the inlet. To ensure top performance and durability, the air pressure should be 150 psig (10.3 bar /1030 kPa) at the inlet. Also, inspect the vanes for wear or breakage and replace them if needed. Finally, ensure proper lubrication as instructed. If the issue persists, flush the motor as instructed under maintenance.
