Why is there high pressure drop across my Ingersoll-Rand NVC 400?

  A high pressure drop across the dryer can occur for several reasons: * Ensure that the inlet and outlet valves are completely open. If not, open them. * The inlet and outlet filters might be blocked. Change the filter elements. * A stuck compressor relay or contactor can cause this issue. Replace the relay or contactor. * A bad microprocessor control relay can also be the reason. Replace the relay. * Inspect the probe and check readings against an independent source (e.g., temperature analyzer/pyrometer/ice bath) both in the exchanger well and to ambient. If the issue persists, turn the dryer off and consult your local distributor for further assistance.

  If the controller display is malfunctioning, try these steps: * Check the fuses and replace them if they are blown. * Inspect the probe cable and terminal connection. Replace the probe if necessary. * Ensure the probe is completely in the thermal well and check readings against an independent source (e.g., temperature analyzer/pyrometer/ice bath) both in the temperature well and to ambient. * Replace the probe if it's defective. * Inspect the transducer cable and terminal connection. If necessary, replace the transducer.

Why is there air bleed from the condensate drain outlet port of my Ingersoll-Rand Dryer (Optional- No Air Loss Drain)?

  Air bleeding from the condensate drain outlet port could be due to debris trapped under the seal or damage to the seal. To resolve this: * Press and hold the test button to clear any debris (this will open the drain valve). * If the problem persists, replace the seal with a Service Kit.

  If the condensate drain isn't firing, consider the following: * Check that the installation follows the manual's guidelines and revise it if needed. * If the inlet/outlet pipe's internal diameter is too small, replace it with larger diameter piping. * Reduce the number of bends and elbows in the inlet/outlet pipe work. * Reconfigure the condensate piping if the outlet pipe is too long or high. * If there's more than one condensate source connected, reroute the condensate to eliminate the secondary path and install check valves as required.

Why does the condensate drain bowl not fill with condensate in my Ingersoll-Rand NVC 400, and the drain does not seem to work due to air locking (Optional-No Air Loss Drain)?

  If the condensate drain bowl doesn't fill and air locking seems to be the issue: * If the bottom inlet is used, ensure the top port is used as an air bleed. * Connect the top inlet to a higher point in the system; this will function as an air bleed for the drain.

  If the condensate drain LED is off, check the power supply. Press the test button for a minimum of 2 seconds and observe. Locate and eliminate any supply fault.
