Usage Features
The IBBQ-4BW is designed for user-friendly operation with intuitive controls and clear indicators.
- Power/Backlight Button: A long press (3 seconds) turns the device on/off. A light touch toggles the backlight.
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Alarm Cancel Button: This multi-function button manages connectivity and alarms.
- Holding for 3 seconds switches between AP mode and SmartConfig mode for Wi-Fi setup.
- Holding for 3 seconds resets the Wi-Fi network when already connected via Wi-Fi.
- Holding for 3 seconds turns on Wi-Fi if it's off.
- A light click connects the device to a phone via Bluetooth (when found by the phone).
- A light click stops an active alarm.
- App Integration (BBQGo Pro): The device connects to the BBQGo Pro app (available on Google Play and App Store) for enhanced monitoring and control. The app supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.

Maintenance Features
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of the IBBQ-4BW.
- Charging: Use a standard USB Type-C 2.0 or 3.0 cable and a 5V/1A rated USB adapter. Fast charging is not supported. Charging times at 23°C: 40% in 60 minutes, 75% in 120 minutes, 98% in 180 minutes.
- Battery Management:
- The device automatically shuts off at 0% battery. Backlight and alarm require at least 1% battery.
- For storage, charge the battery to around 50%. Fully discharging or fully charging for extended periods can damage the battery. Charge to 50% every six months if storing for longer periods.
- Temperature affects battery chemical activity; readings may be inaccurate below 0°C.
- Storage Environment:
- Operating Discharge: -10℃~+60°C, 90%RH. Best discharge: +15°C~+25°C.
- Charging: 0°C~+45°C, 90%RH. Best charging: +20°C~+25°C.

- Probe Care: Probes are not waterproof. Do not immerse the entire probe in liquid. Probes can be washed with water, but interfaces should be kept dry. Air dry or place in a 120°C oven for about half an hour after accidental soaking.
- Connectivity Best Practices:
- Enable location services and grant BBQGo Pro app permission for location access.
- Keep the device, phone, and wireless router as close as possible during connection and operation to prevent signal weakening.
- Avoid placing the device on metal surfaces or near metal objects, as this can weaken wireless signals. Preferably place it more than 1 meter above the ground.
- VPN and network proxy servers are forbidden during connection setup.
- Check router settings if the device is blocked or blacklisted.
- Wi-Fi Configuration Memory: The device memorizes Wi-Fi configuration (name and password) when successfully connected. If not successfully reconnected to a new Wi-Fi network within 3 minutes after a reset, or if turned off after a reset without Wi-Fi configuration, it will reconnect to the previous network. Removing the device from the app will erase all network configuration information.
