How to use the chip resetter for the

Canon PGI-220 / CLI-221 Cartridges

For the CLI-221 Black, Yellow, Cyan and Magenta Cartridges- use the

sliding bar guide attachment and put it on top of the chip resetter as

shown in picture 1.

For the PGI-220 Black remove the slide guide and use the chip resetter

with out the sliding guide as shown in picture 2.

Hold the cartridge with the chip facing the back of the chip resetter.

For the CLI-221 PGI-220

Put cartridge into the sliding guide No slide guide is needed

General

Use the sliding bar guide attachment for CLI-221 color cartridges.

Remove the slide guide for PGI-220 black cartridges.

Hold cartridge with chip facing resetter back, slide down, press chip.

Observe short red LED flash for contact, continuous red LED for success.

Address pin contact, non-original cartridges, and battery issues.
