If none of these resolves the issue, it may indicate a device malfunction.

A dirty SpiroWay® mouthpiece can also cause this; clean it to ensure the lumen is not obstructed, or replace it with a new one. Finally, a damaged SpiroWay® mouthpiece should be replaced.

  The device might disconnect during a test for a couple of reasons. It could be that the device was accidentally turned off or due to rough handling. If this is the case, switch the device on again and start a new test. Another reason may be a disrupted Bluetooth® connection. If so, reconnect the device and start a new test.
