We recommend that you build your enclosure out of 3/4” MDF
(medium density fiberboard).
Use a square to make sure that your right-angle cuts are
accurate before you assemble your enclosure.
Use high-quality wood glue and screws to assemble the
enclosure to guarantee an airtight box that will not come apart
due to excess vibration and pressure.
For sealed enclosures, we recommend that you stuff the
enclosure with 50 - 75% fiberglass insulation or Dacron fiberfill
for increased sound dampening and subwoofer performance.
For ported enclosures, we recommend that you staple 1” thick
fiberglass insulation to the interior walls of your enclosure.

Caution
Use bare wire for the speaker push terminals. Do not solder
the wires to the factory connectors because it may damage
the voice coil or leads and may void your warranty.
