3. BATTERY INSTALLATION
Remove the battery cover.
Insert a CR2032 battery into the battery compartment, ensuring that the positive side (+) faces outward.
Close the battery cover.
4. BUTTON FUNCTIONS
“in/mm”: Switch between inches and millimeters.
“OFF/ON”: Turn the caliper on/off.
“ZERO”: Set the zero position (reset).
5. IF YOU DON’T NEED THE SLIDING WHEEL, remove the screw at the back of the wheel and replace it with
the cover. (Applies only to the 1108 series).
6. CLEANING THE MEASUREMENT SURFACES
Wipe the measuring surfaces and body with a soft cloth.
Close the outer jaws and press the “ZERO” button to reset the caliper.
Regularly check that the caliper is correctly set.
7. FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS, apply consistent and appropriate force to the caliper. During
measurement, the measuring jaws should “hold” the workpiece but also be able to “slide” along it.
8. AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF AFTER 20 MINUTES
Press the “OFF/ON” button or slide the digital unit to turn on the display.
9. EXPECTED BATTERY LIFE IS UP TO ONE YEAR
When the battery is nearly depleted, the display brightness will decrease, and abnormal values may appear. For
instance, you might see readings like 0.02 mm or 0.05 mm when pressing the “ZERO” button or encountering
other anomalies during digital unit movement. Please replace the battery promptly. If the caliper is not in use for
more than 3 months, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage and damage.
10. IF THE DIGITS DO NOT CHANGE AFTER PRESSING THE BUTTONS, remove the battery and reinsert it
after 1 minute.
11. OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE IS 0-40°C (32-104°F), and the relative humidity should not exceed
80%.
