Why won't my INSTEON In-LineLinc 2475DA1 add to a scene or respond to the controller?

If your INSTEON Dimmer doesn't add to a scene or respond to a controller, it might be due to a few reasons. First, the controller may have been reset without removing the dimmer from a scene; try re-adding the In-LineLinc Dimmer to the controller. Also, the INSTEON signal might be too weak. Since all INSTEON devices act as network repeaters, adding more devices or moving existing ones can help. Large appliances may also produce electrical noise; consider installing a powerline noise filter (FilterLinc #1626-10) to minimize signal attenuation.
