Note: It is important that you enter the SAN IP settings before adding
any targets. Without the IP settings, you cannot connect to targets.
The Network Settings screen contains three areas. The DHCP area shows
the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol status. In this example, it is
disabled.
The SAN IP Settings area contains 3 fields: IP Address,theSubnet Mask,
and the Gateway. If DHCP is enabled, these fields are automatically
assigned. If DHCP is disabled, you will have to manually set the IP
Address, Subnet Mask,andGateway fields (with Gateway being the only
optional field).
The Unique Name for Adapter area, where you enter a unique name for
the adapter in the Name field.
