If your Invacare Personal Care Product mattress is not inflating or alternating properly, start by checking the mattress hose connections and ensuring they are securely locked. Inspect the air hose for any kinks or splits; unkink it or replace it if damaged. Also, examine the air cushions or overlay pad for major leaks and replace them if necessary. Check manifold for kinks or splits; unkink manifold or replace split manifold. If the control unit doesn't turn on despite having power and a good fuse, or if the valve is malfunctioning, the unit may need to be sent back for repair. Michael GoodmanAug 14, 2025
If your Invacare Personal Care Product has no power, first ensure the control unit is turned on and properly connected to a power source. Check that the power source itself has power and is switched on. In case of a power outage, wait for the power to be restored. Finally, inspect the fuse and replace it with an equivalent one if it's blown.
