How to Upgrade Firmware

Step 1: Download Firmware

Go to IOGEAR support website to download the latest firmware.

Step 2: Copy Firmware Files

Copy the two disc image files to an empty USB flash drive.

Step 6: Prepare for USB Update

Hold the Mode button until "Please wait for USB update" is displayed.

Step 7: Insert USB Drive

Insert the USB flash drive containing the firmware files.

Step 10: Reboot and Wait

GWAVR will reboot after installation; do not remove the USB flash drive.

Step 11: Firmware Installed

Firmware is installed when Intel WiDi splash screen appears; remove USB drive.
