iPong Registration
Registration must be completed within 10 days from the date of your purchase of the iPong Table
Tennis Robot. You can access the registration form online at the ipong.net website and submit your
information electronically.
What is Covered
Except as provided below, the Limited Warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship.
This Limited Warranty is void if the iPong Table Tennis Robot is:
• damaged through improper usage, negligen
ce, misuse, abuse, transportation damage, acts of nature,
or accident (including failure to follow the instructions supplied with the iPong Table Tennis Robot)
• used in commercial applications or rentals
If during the Limited Factory Warranty period, any part or component of the iPong Table Tennis Robot
unit (either the same or an equivalent model), allow the original retailer of the unit to exchange the
defective unit with a new unit (either the same or an equivalent model), or refund the original purchase
price of the unit, without charge for labor or parts. JOOLA’s obligation to repair, replace, or exchange
the unit, however, is limited to the amount of the original purchase price of the iPong Table Tennis
Robot.
LIMITED FACTORY WARRANTY
JOOLA North America, LLC (“JOOLA”) warrants iPong Table Tennis Robots are free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal personal use and conditions for a period of one year
from the date of original purchase in the United States and Canada.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
In order to obtain warranty service under this Limited Warranty, please follow the following
steps:
- User must complete and submit the iPong Table Tennis Robot Registration within 10 days
of purchase.
- Retain the original copy of the sales receipt.
- Call JOOLA’s Customer Service Department at (301) 816-3060 anytime from 9:00 am to
servicing. JOOLA will decide whether the iPong Table Tennis Robot may be serviced at
user’s location or at a location designated by JOOLA.
- If instructed to return the iPong Table Tennis Robot to JOOLA for servicing, user is
responsible for shipping the unit, at his/her own expense, to the address provided by
JOOLA in adequate packaging that will protect it against further damage.
- Include owner’s name, address, daytime telephone number, model numb
er of the iPong
Table Tennis Robot, and a description of the problem.
- JOOLA will pay for any shipping charges to return the repaired or replaced iPong Table
Tennis Robot.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE IPONG TABLE TENNIS ROBOT AND IS VALID IN THE UNITED
STATES AND CANADA ONLY.
JOOLA’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT ITS DISCRETION, OF ANY DEFECTIVE IPONG TABLE TENNIS ROBOT AND DOES
NOT INCLUDE ANY LIABILITY FOR INDIR
ECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.

The iPong Pro is a table tennis robot designed to help players practice and improve their skills by automatically feeding table tennis balls. It is intended for personal use and is covered by a one-year limited factory warranty in the United States and Canada.

Function Description:

The iPong Pro's primary function is to serve table tennis balls with customizable spin, speed, and trajectory. It utilizes an upper and a lower wheel to control ball spin and speed. When the upper wheel spins slightly faster, topspin is created, and when the lower wheel spins slightly faster, backspin is created. The robot also features an oscillation function, allowing it to deliver balls side-to-side across the table.

Important Technical Specifications:

• Ball Compatibility: The iPong Pro is designed to be used exclusively with 40mm table tennis balls.
• Ball Capacity: The robot has a maximum ball capacity of 100 balls, though it is recommended to use around 75 balls to prevent jamming.
• Power Source: It operates using an A/C adapter, which plugs into the rear of the core engine and then into a wall outlet.
• Control Interface: The robot is controlled via a wired remote, which includes knobs for TopSpin, BackSpin, Frequency/On, and Oscillation.
• Construction: The device consists of a core engine, an agitator, a top assembly, and a bottom assembly.

Usage Features:

• Assembly: The iPong Pro is designed for quick and easy assembly. Users attach the agitator to the core engine, then connect the core engine to the bottom and top assemblies. Finally, the A/C adapter is plugged in.
• Setup:
  • Before use, ensure no balls are inside the core engine and the agitator notch is not aligned with the ball entry hole to prevent jamming.
  • Balls are placed into the top assembly.
  • The robot should be positioned at the opposite end of the table, ideally close to the back end and centerline, with the projection hole angled to the desired left or right position.
  • Spin Control: The TopSpin and BackSpin knobs on the remote control allow for precise adjustment of ball spin. Turning the TopSpin knob clockwise increases topspin and speed, while turning the BackSpin knob clockwise increases backspin.
  • Frequency/On: The Frequency/On knob controls the rate at which balls are shot, with a range that can deliver up to approximately 90 balls per minute.
  • Oscillation: The Oscillation knob controls the side-to-side movement of the robot, with a clockwise turn increasing the oscillation speed.
• Ball Error Adjustments:
  • If balls don't clear the net, increase TopSpin.
  • If balls go off the table, decrease TopSpin.
  • The BackSpin control can also be used to keep balls above the net while landing on the table.
• Typical Pro Setups:
  • For topspin balls, recommended settings are TopSpin knob between 4 and 5, and BackSpin knob between 0 and 1.
  • For backspin balls, recommended settings are TopSpin knob between 0 and 1, and BackSpin knob between 3 and 4.
  • Note that these settings may vary based on conditions like ball size, dust, humidity, and altitude.

Maintenance Features:

• Cleaning: The iPong Pro does not require routine maintenance, but it is important to ensure the rubber wheels are clean and free from dust to maintain consistent performance.
• Troubleshooting for Jams:
  • If balls jam, first unplug the unit or remove batteries.
  • Remove jammed balls from the discharge hole or by tipping the unit upside down and shaking it.
  • To prevent future jams, ensure the agitator plate's entry cut-out is not aligned directly above the feeder hole when turning the unit off.
  • Overloading the top feeder with balls can also cause jams; reduce the number of balls if this occurs.
• Part Replacement: In case of defective parts, users can contact JOOLA North America, LLC, providing the original product number, part number, serial number, and credit card information if the warranty period has expired.
• Warranty Service: To obtain warranty service, users must register their iPong within 10 days of purchase, retain the sales receipt, and contact JOOLA's Customer Service Department. JOOLA will determine if the unit can be serviced on-site or requires return for repair. Users are responsible for shipping the unit in adequate packaging, while JOOLA covers return shipping costs for repaired or replaced units.
