This safety manual contains important operating, recycling, safety, and warranty
information for your Slate device (hereinafter “the Slate” or the “Product”), purchased by a
corporate or individual Customer (hereinafter the Customer” or “you”) from the ISKN SAS
company (hereinafter “ISKN” or “we”). An individual Customer means any natural person
acting for purposes that do not fall within the scope of his trade, industry, craft, or
profession.
This safety manual’s provisions apply to all Products purchased by the
Customer from ISKN on the website www.iskn.co or at a physical point of sale.
Safety Instructions
Safety Information
The Slate complies with temperature limits for exposed surfaces, as defined by the
international standard for safety of information technology equipment (IEC 60950-1: 2005
(2nd Edition) +/A1:2009).
All equipment connected to the Slate must be SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) and Limited
Power Sources, as defined by chapters 2.2 and 2.5 of standards IEC 60950-1:2005+/A1:2010
and EN 60950-1:2006+/A11:2009+/A1:2010+/A12:2011.
Charge the Slate only via a USB port.
Do not modify this Product or its accessories in any way. Any unauthorized modification
may compromise your safety or the system’s regulatory compliance and performance. Do
not attempt to replace the Product’s battery.

instructions below before using the Slate.
