Radio application cannot find radio modem
• Make sure the IRQ setting for COM4 is set correctly in the SCU. Many DOS applications assume this to be
IRQ 3 rather than the default of IRQ 10.
See Section 6 Customizing Your Bios Settings.
• Make sure that XCPRF is being loaded in AUTOEXEC.BAT before starting the application.
Activating the Radio TSR while in the DOS Editor causes the computer to lock up requir-
ing a hardware reset
• Do not use CTRL+ALT+R while inside the DOS Editor.
The Transparent Mode application doesn’t work
• This application is only for the ARDIS radio network.
