What to do if ITW Gema OptiFlex B control unit displays remain dark?
    • J
      Jennifer PooleAug 15, 2025
If the control unit displays remain dark even when switched on, there could be a few reasons. First, ensure the equipment is properly connected to the mains. If it is, check the power pack fuse and replace it if defective. If the fuse is fine, the power pack itself might be defective and needs replacement.

Why ITW Gema OptiFlex B Industrial Electrical gun does not spray powder?
    • M
      Mr. Gary PerezAug 18, 2025
If the ITW Gema Industrial Electrical gun does not spray powder even when the control unit is on and the trigger is operated, several issues could be the cause. Start by ensuring the equipment is connected to a compressed air source. Then, check for clogs in the injector, motor throttle, nozzle on the injector, powder hose, or powder gun; clean any affected parts. Replace the nozzle in the injector if it's clogged, or insert the nozzle if it's missing. If there is no conveying air, the reducing valve may be defective and should be replaced. Also, the solenoid valve could be defective, requiring replacement. For fluidization problems, there is no suggested solution. If none of these steps work, the control circuit board might be defective, and you should send it in for repair.

What to do if ITW Gema OptiFlex B powder does not adhere to object?
    • S
      Stephen JosephAug 21, 2025
If powder isn't adhering to the object despite the gun spraying powder, first, ensure that high-voltage and current are activated by pressing the selection key (application key). Next, verify the objects are properly grounded by checking the grounding. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the high voltage cascade might be defective, requiring the gun to be sent in for repair.

How to fix ITW Gema Industrial Electrical powder not fluidized?
    • L
      Laura Lawrence MDAug 25, 2025
If the powder is not fluidized, first ensure that the equipment is connected to compressed air. If it is, check the control unit and correctly set the fluidizing air. Finally, the motor throttle may be defective and needs to be replaced.

What to do if ITW Gema OptiFlex B gun LED remains dark?
    • V
      Veronica WangAug 27, 2025
If the gun LED remains dark even when the gun trigger is operated, the issue might be a defective gun plug, gun cable, or gun cable connection. In this case, replace the corresponding part or send it in for repair. Alternatively, the remote control (gun cap) may need replacement.
