Alarm times are set similarly: pressing button 1 cycles through the alarm settings, and buttons 2 and 3 adjust the hour and minute for each alarm. An alarm can be canceled by pressing button 2 until the "---" symbol is displayed.
The device includes a locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized access or accidental spills. A key is inserted and turned a quarter turn to the left to lock and a quarter turn to the right to unlock.
