  If the iXBlue Sonar SeapiX software does not start correctly, there might be a couple of reasons: * The SeapiX VPU dongle may not be properly connected. Ensure the SeapiX VPU dongle is connected. Allow a few minutes for the driver to install. If it still doesn’t work, try using a different USB port. * The license files might not be set up correctly. If you've recently updated your software, verify that you've copied the license files into the new software installation folder.

Why doesn't the ITU (blue) LED light up on my iXBlue SeapiX?

  If the ITU (blue) LED on your iXBlue Sonar does not light up, here are a few potential causes and solutions: * The ITU main switch may be turned off. Ensure that the ITU main switch is turned on. * The BFU may be off. Power on the BFU. * The control-command cable may not be correctly plugged in or wired. If it's a new cable, verify its pinout. If the cable was previously working, check its connections at both the ITU and BFU, and ensure its integrity by checking for a +12VDC voltage between pin 9 and pin 1. * The ITU internal AC/DC power supply may be faulty. In this case, contact iXblue Support.

  If the bathymetry map is not being generated in your iXBlue Sonar system, there are several potential causes: * The range setting may not be sufficient. Try increasing the swath range. * The pulse power setting may be too low. Increase the swath pulse power. * The selected bathymetry swaths sources may not be pinging. Check the bathymetry sources in Seapix > Settings > Sources. * The system may be in degraded mode. Refer to SeapiX Configuration and check the status on the Main Control window.

  If the Echogram is not showing progression on your iXBlue Sonar, consider the following: * The Echogram may be set in History mode. Click the History button to deselect it, ensuring the echogram is in real-time configuration. * The selected swath may not be pinging. Open the swaths view and activate the swath, or change the echogram source.
