Overview

The JABO-5CG is an upgraded bait boat designed for fishing, offering enhanced stability, reduced faults, and improved transportability compared to previous models. It integrates advanced features for fish detection, GPS navigation, and bait delivery, making it a versatile tool for anglers.

Function Description:

The primary function of the JABO-5CG is to transport bait and hooks to desired fishing locations, utilizing remote control for navigation. It features a catamaran design for stable sailing and can feed two hooks simultaneously or separately. The boat is equipped with a sonar system for fish detection and depth measurement, as well as GPS for precise navigation, destination storage, and distance measurement. Navigation lights are included for night use, with a dedicated front light for night fishing. The bait boat uses a stepless speed system, allowing it to sail in all directions.

Usage Features:

  • Bait Delivery: The boat can feed two hooks simultaneously or separately. To open the feeding bins, the user must press the "FUNCTION" button and push the right stick to the left/right (for individual bins) or push up the right stick (for both bins). After opening, ensure the hook pins return to the cabin for wire release.
  • Navigation: Controlled by a remote with a left stick for steering (forward, reverse, left/right turn) and a right stick for bait bin control and fishing light. The stepless speed system allows for smooth movement in all directions.
  • Sailing Lights: Two sailing lights are located at the rear. Flashing in turns indicates power is on but not connected to the remote. Flashing altogether with front lights indicates low battery. Solid lights mean the boat is moving forward. Flashing lights mean reversing. Left/right flashing indicates turning.
  • Front Light: Can be turned on/off by pulling down the right stick.
  • Fish Detection Mode: Allows users to view water temperature, depth, and fish activity. Parameters like backlight, zoom, temperature unit, depth unit, and sonar sensitivity can be adjusted. Sonar sensitivity is crucial for clear readings, with a recommended range of 60-90.
  • GPS Mode: Provides current latitude and longitude, distance measurement, and destination storage. Users can store up to 8 feeding points. The boat can navigate back to stored destinations. GPS satellite capture typically takes 1-5 minutes.
  • Remote Control Operation:
    • Turn on the remote control first, then the bait boat switches.
    • The remote control has a unique serial number, pre-matched with the bait boat. If a new remote or receiver is used, a matching process (pressing '+' button in serial number setting) is required.
    • The remote control display shows the bait boat's direction, feeding bin status, water temperature, and depth.
    • The remote control has two working modes: Fish detection mode and GPS mode, switchable via UP/DOWN keys.
    • Time zone setting is available.
  • Safety Features:
    • A safety button on the remote control prevents accidental bait bin opening.
    • All cabins are sealed with rubber strips for increased waterproofness.
    • Low battery alerts are provided (remote beeping, front light flashing).
    • The boat will alarm low battery, and users should return it within 10 minutes to prevent loss of control or battery damage.

Maintenance Features:

  • Battery Charging:
    • Always charge the battery before each use using the original 5V/1A charger.
    • Red light indicates charging, green light indicates fully charged.
    • If not in use, charge the bait boat every 3 months to maintain 70-80% battery level for optimal lifetime. Store in a dry place.
    • Remove the remote control battery if not in use for extended periods.
    • The bait boat has two separate batteries, which should be charged individually.
    • Turn off the bait boat switch when charging.
    • Red/green flash on the charging indicator signifies maloperation (e.g., switch left on) or interrupted charging.
  • Troubleshooting: If difficulty is encountered plugging in the socket, gently twist the plug instead of forcing it.
  • Waterproof Design: All cabins are sealed with rubber strips to enhance waterproofness, contributing to the device's durability.
  • Durable Construction: Built with high-quality engineering plastic, the body is solid and durable, designed for longevity in various fishing environments.
