coatedineverypoint.Thenrotate
gearsclockwiseandanti-clockwise
togetthetraceofcontactarea.(see
therightfigure).Iftoothcontactarea
doesn'tconformtotherequirement
showedinfigure(a),adjustittocon鄄
formtotherequirement.Iftracedevi鄄
atefromconvexorconcavetooth
root,addadjustingshim.Iftracede鄄

2.Don'tremoveoradjusttheconical
gearsandbearingsoffinaldrive,for
theyhavebeenmatchedandadjust鄄
edinfactory.Removingandadjust鄄
ingshouldbedoneonlyasthegears
arewornandthegearclearanceis

orthedamagedpartsmustbere鄄
placed.
3.Cleantheventplugregularly,dis鄄
assembleitwhendoingclass-one
maintenancetomakesureventilation
expedite.Ajammedairdraincan
bringhigherairpressureintherear
axle,whichwillresultinlubricantleak
fromthedrivepinionsealandother
weldingline.Checktheleveloflubri鄄
cantinaxlehousing.
4.Foranewvehicle,lubricantshould
bereplacedwhendoingclass-two
maintenance.Afterwards,checkthe
qualityoflubricantduringclass-two
maintenance every time. Replace
newlubricantifcolor-changeor
thinnesshastakenplace.
5.Dismantletherearcoverwhendo鄄
ingclass-threemaintenance.Clean
theinnercavityandfinaldriveas鄄
sembly,screwboltandnutreferring
tothespecifiedforcemoment.
