Anti-blockingsystem
Theanti-blockingsystem (ABS)is
designed to prevent blocking of
wheelincaseofemergencybraking.
TheABScontrolsystemcantestthe
vehiclespeedandcontrolpressure.
Therefore,theABScanincreasethe
controlabilityofvehicleincaseofe
mergencyorwhendrivingonslip
peryroads.
Reducethespeedwhendrivingon
suchroads.Itisnotpermissibleto
testthefunctionofABSbyfastdriv
ingormakingsharpturns.

whenthebrakeissteppedon.
Noisefromtheenginemayalso
beheardwhenthebrakeisap
plied.Thisisnormal,indicating
thenormalfunctioningoftheanti-
blockingsystem.
